The DSP
makes available its unparalleled facility and staff as a resource
to the local, national, and international sculpture communities.
Interaction ranges from facility tours, classes and student-initiated
projects to intern work/study programs, outreach programs and a
lecture series. Apprenticeships and workshops are available to train
artists, architects, and designers in all aspects of stoneworking
and a wide range of digital applications. Intern opportunities are
available to a select group of students or recent graduates each
semester, including the summer and winter sessions.
Digital Stone Project is pleased to have partnered with
Grounds For Sculpture and the Arts Council of Princeton to offer
stone carving classes taught by our very own staff sculptor Petro
Hul. These classes are for everyone, no prior stone carving skills
are required. Class fees include stone and tool use, students should
provide their own safety equipment (eye protection, gloves, apron).
