| The Digital Stone Project
is a full service stone sculpture fabrication facility. Serving
artists, architects and designers we offer a full range of services
to create works of art and sculptural projects in stone. As a non-profit
501(c)(3) entity, we also offer a range of educational resources
to artists and those interested in stone sculpture.
Our one-of-a-kind facility offers the newest digital stone carving
technology in combination with master artisanship. We utilize processes
such as laser scanning, 3D modeling and processing and computer
controlled stone milling. The opportunity for the artist, architect
or designer to work closely with our staff through all phases of
production, coupled with our focus on art fabrication and our extensive
digital tools and technology make The Digital Stone Project unique
in the world. |
NEW JERSEY STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS GRANT
NJSCA recently announced 2007 arts projects support awards - including a $12,000 grant to DSP for our Digital Sculpture Project, which includes artist residencies, community programs and digital sculpture courses for artists. This grant will help offset the costs to New Jersey Artists for enrolling in our weekend digital sculpture courses, and will help pay for part of the artist residencies and community programs.
DODGE FOUNDATION GRANT
DSP is very excited to announce that we have received a $5,000 grant from the Geraldine R Dodge Foundation to help support our pilot artist residency program. New Jersey artists will be eligible to apply for a 6-month residency at the Digital Stone Project. More details will be announced soon!
